SPRING 1 SEMESTER: NATIVE AMERICAN ART!
12 February - 30 March
Feathered head-dresses, earth tone clothing, smudges of red paint on their faces and bodies, this image is a typical projection of Native Americans in popular culture, but is that all it is?!
In this semester, we will be introducing some fun Native American folklore to inspire the children. As they create their own ‘Native American’ works of art, your children will not only gain an understanding of tribal culture, their love of nature, but also learn about earth tones and geometric patterns.
